This stunning boy is 3/4 Sardo Negro. His dam is a ABBA certified F1 and is 1/2 Hereford 1/2 Sardo Negro herself. Dutton, his sire, is a registered 100% Sardo Negro and a grandson of the famous MAAS Mariachi. This boy will add that breathtaking black and white color to his babies that the sardo breed is known for. Additionally, he would pass along those strong and solid hereford traits everyone loves and has the right amount of ear to offer those wanting to put him on some brahman but not so much that you’ll get docked at the sale barn if you put him in a commercial herd! He was born completely unassisted in the low 40s and got right up and nursed. Cant say enough good things about this big boy! He will be available at weaning in April 2025. All calves will be put through our training/socializing at weaning to get comfortable with being handled as well as getting comfortable with being in confined areas such as working pens. Our main goal is getting them gentle and easy to work. If you are unfamiliar with halter breaking we advise you reach out to a professional for assistance. Although some calves are started on the halter, none are halter broke by the time they leave
